We always had an apple tree out fro...Hey Courtney!<br /><br />We always had an apple tree out front and the apples would get black specks/spots on them too. It was just a fungus, and is why commercial orchards wax and spray apples. :) So, maybe if you are lucky, that is what it is! It should just wash off, and the apples would be perfectly safe. <br /><br />Of course, if they are the mushy rotten then there is just no denying that something went wrong! Hope not.
